Seguridad regional y balance de poder en Asia Pacífico
Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en demostrar que el éxito económico asiático es sólo un débil indicador de estabilidad y paz en la región. Es más, la dinámica económica de la zona del Pacífico asiático pende de un frágil y precario sistema de seguridad regional. La intensificación de los lazos comerciales, tan divulgada por los liberales, poco ayuda al proceso de entendimiento mutuo, especialmente porque en Asia subsiste la sospecha, el rencor por el pasado y la ambición de acumular mayor poder.
